Description

Music : Bharadwaj Direction : Manoj Kumar Lyrics : Snehan The story is about how Karthikeyan (Vijaykanth), the ace detective (huh?), brings to justice the villains who kill his brother Surya (Dileep) who is framed in a murder case. Geeta (Shamita Shetty) is our Captain's wife (her most powerful moment in the movie is when she drops her saree [ha ha ha!]) and obviously deeplly in love and in awe of her hubby. A strange fact - Vijaykanth's heroines keep getting younger as he gets older. Now when our Governor's (Murali) daughter-in-law is found dead, the local cops cannot solve the murder. But Hey! Stop the presses! Here comes the local version of Sherlock Holmes who proves that it was not the butler who did it but the Governor's son himself. When he is charged, found guilty and all set to hang, our Governor plays a trick and makes Surya out to be the real culprit and has him hanged instead. In comes Sherlock again with red eyes spouting frothy dialogue, eager to set the facts straight. Can anyone stop our Captain when he is in the path of justice? Yes.
