Ltd. Ezhil, director of films with offbeat themes once again comes out with a unique love story. He deals with a strange pact between two lovers who enter into separate marriages with a vow to reunite again. The movie starts with Victor (Prakashraj) and Nancy (Madhumitha) getting married in a church. On their way back the car stops at a park where she introduces her hubby to Dinakar (Jai Akash) as her lover. The film then shifts to a flashback. Dinakar and Nancy are neighbours and they are in love. Nancy, the sole bread earner of the family is a very moody, yet fiercely independent girl. Dinakar who dotes on her is the opposite. He is very much caring and accommodating to the moods of Nancy. Victor, the successful businessman and a multimillionaire takes a liking to Nancy and approaches her father with a marriage proposal. The girl's family sees this as an opportunity to see better times in life. Dinakar's father promises his sister that her daughter Vinaya (Uma) will be his daughter in law. With Nancy's family holding out threats of suicide and Dinakar's father suffering a stroke the lovers get into a pact that they would accept the parents' decision but only to divorce and remarry again. Whether the lovers fulfill the pact or not forms the rest of the story. Madhumitha steals the show with her mind-blowing performance. As the moody girl and later as the wife who is hell-bent on divorce she comes up a fine performance. Prakashraj, needless to say, essays his role of the hubby caught in a strange predicament. With a solid role, Jai Akash could have done better. Uma as the submissive wife is okay. While the half moves interestingly, the second half lacks pace. Music and cinematography are average.
