Suryah) is a journalist who falls in love with Madhu (Nila), but their love is strongly opposed by their parents. They reside together in an apartment, and aim at earning sufficient money to setup their own family and live happily. Shiva, being a journalist, returns late regularly after work. In the meantime, Madhu plans to start a restaurant with help from her brotherâ€™s friend. Many factors like this leads to a difference of opinion between them, leading to their separation. Madhu leaves Shiva and stays in her fatherâ€™s guest house. How they overcome their difference of opinions and reunite again is all what the film is about. Suryah has attracted all the B&C class audience. Had he avoided the use of a lot of double meanings in his film, he would have easily gained the attraction of A class audience too. The graphics for the â€˜Mayiliragaeâ€™ song was done by superstarâ€™s daughter Soundarya. The graphics along with Suryahâ€™s dance has made this song a real hit. The possessive nature of S.J. Suryah is well portrayed in this film. Nila fondly called by S.J. Suryah as â€œSmall Simranâ€ has made her debut in this film. She has performed in such a way that no one can ever guess that she has done her debut in this film. Nila has done her role with a mixture of glamour in it. The comedy of S.J. Suryah and Mayilsami is also a plus point for this film. The greatest positive point for this film is the music of A.R. Rehman. Oorvasi has appeared in one or two scenes. She has also performed well.
