The title of the film catches our attention in the first place and gives the message that it is not the regular kind of film that we come across everyday. Well it’s not, for the film is about serial killing and this is the theme we don’t come commonly. There is thrill and excitement in store from the very first go, but as the film progresses, everything seems to sink along with.

The film has in the lead Sathyaraj who works in a crime thriller after a long period of time. Sathyaraj films always have some unusual title and this also belongs to that category. His screen presence does ignite the screen. He adds excitement and interest with his acting skills. Along side him is debutante Sunitha Verma a glamorous actress who dons the role of police informer in the film. Comedian Vadivelu does his routinous comedy without appearing fresh and novel. There is also veteran Raveendhar in a pivotal role in the film who makes a come back after a long time.

The film opens with James (Sathyaraj) and Mr White (Vadivelu) as call center employees in Chennai. The murder of a labor union leader Krishnamurthy (Ajay Rathnam) takes place and James becomes the witness of it. The police take his aid and he assures them that he’ll identify the killer.

To get through the murder and to solve the case police inspector Soundara Pandian (Raj Kapoor) takes the support of lady informer Ishwarya (Sunitha Verma). He persuades her to act as James’ wife and stay along with him, opposite to the murdered Krishnamurthy’s house.

Both James’ and Ishwarya try to get along with the family of Krishnamurthy to get through the root of the case. No sooner Krishnamurthy’s father also gets killed. The suspense takes its toll to reveal atlast that James is the killer. The reason, revenging the murder of his parents. Krishmaurthy and his brother Ramamurthy (Raveendhar) had killed James’ parents a few years ago. So he had taken up a place opposite theirs so that he can keep open eyes on them always.

On learning about James’ mission Ishwarya guarantees him support to kill Ramamurthy who is in Australia. With the two hand in hand against Ramamurthy, they easily succeed in their mission.

As mentioned earlier, the film takes off in a brilliantly weaving suspense and thrill all the way. The first part is the strength of the film though the second part fails to hold much promise. Post interval part is pretty tedious and predictable. The film is directed by debutante Senthil Kumar. He can be credited for trying to do something different on an unusual theme. But the success of the film would have added feather to his cap.
